Got metal if ya want it. The debut EP from this New York four-piece nicely updates the Soundgarden template of heavy rock with a bit of melody. These guys clearly love them some Black Sabbath, and that's just fine. If you can get past metalrific song titles like "Chair And Noose" and "Slave To Self," you’ll discover taut hooks as well as chops. As Y3 editor and noted hater of metal Pat Pierson remarked upon hearing these guys, "If I wanted to make money, I'd sign these guys before I'd sign The Mooney Suzuki." Anybody got a pen?
