Perhaps the first band which could be said to be derivative of Barenaked Ladies, Belloluna is goofy enough to have a song called "I Wanna Be Like Martha Stewart." In fact, at times, singer John C. Brand’s voice is a dead ringer for BNL crooner Steven Page’s. Heck, if the slightly distorted photo is any judge, the two could pass for brothers, maybe. And if this group doesn’t approach the pop genius BNL has achieved on more than a few songs, it also steers clear of white-boy rap. "Happy Love Vibe" is decent hippie lounge, if there is such a thing.
