Mike C.'s DJ career started on a Friday night at a neighborhood Irish pub in Hoboken, N.J. Ten years and more than 500 gigs later, the beat goes on. Highlights:

Editorial and Marketing Mike set out to conquer the music business with B.A. degrees in Journalism and History from Rutgers in tow. In more than a decade on staff with Sony, BMG and then Sony BMG, he had the privilege of editing liner notes written by many of the most acclaimed voices in music criticism, including Peter Guralnick, Stanley Crouch, Anthony DeCurtis, David Fricke and Dave Marsh. He has overseen editorial on products, marketing and advertising for platinum artists such as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Dixie Chicks, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Kings Of Leon, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Will Smith, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Daughtry and The Strokes. As of spring 2009, he is editing a 240-page hardcover book soon to be packaged with a luxury box set by one of the most iconic artists in music history. As Managing Editor of the nationally distributed indie rock magazine Yeah Yeah Yeah, Mike supervised all editorial aspects of the publication for its full run of 23 issues over a span of eight years. Assigning stories and reviews, he motivated a team of 25 unpaid freelance writers while also writing features, commentary and more than 200 CD and live show reviews. He is the author of liner notes for CD compilations in Legacy's Playlist series by '80s favorites Rick Astley, A Flock Of Seagulls and Living Colour. Mike is also the co-author of notes for the new Elvis Presley box set, I Believe: The Gospel Recordings, released March 2009. He is currently writing notes for more 2009 reissue releases.
